Blue Lady Couture is part of Joanna's Bridal. I specialise in creating custom bridal, special occasion wear, historically inspired clothing and accessories. Everything is carefully handmade to the highest standards by me at my home studio near Lincoln, UK. I particularly like to specialise in historically inspired and fantasy styles.
We very much hope your item will be perfect for you, but sometimes problems do arise and we make every effort to resolve them as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Blue Lady Couture takes no responsibility if the colours you have ordered vary from those shown on the screen as it is impossible for us to accurately portray these due to photographic quality and differences in monitor settings. Please do not order if you are unsure.
We take no responsibility if your order does not arrive in time for your special event, providing it was despatched within the time frame explained below. We have no control over the delivery time and only offer it as a guide in the order confirmation email based on Royal Mail and International Signed For.

Terms and conditions - General
For Classic Collection items that are MADE TO MEASUREMENTS, we cannot accept returns that are the wrong size or if you change your mind. The items will be made to the measurements supplied by you and it is unlikely we would be able to resell the item. Please double check your measurements and ask us if you are unsure about anything. Once your order is placed we will assist you as best we can to take correct measurements using our PDF instructions or recommend you ask a local seamstress to do them for you.
Do be prepared to have some alterations done locally. Dress making is a fine art and a perfect fit cannot always be guaranteed due to all body shapes being unique. We do not cover the costs of any alteration work.

Please note that for each item which is made to order, work on your order will not commence until payment has cleared and measurements received. Blue Lady Couture will make every effort to complete your order within the appropriate timescale and will inform you if we feel we may not be able to do this (for example if a supplier is out of stock of fabric).

We recommend that you do not place an order less than 8 weeks before your event and suggest you allow at least 12 weeks in case any unforeseen problems arise. Please let us know if you have a short deadline as we can sometimes get very busy and may not be able to accommodate your request.
